Once everyone is comfortable, you’ll mount your horses and head into the forest. As you ride through the serene landscape, you’ll be on the lookout for moose tracks and, with a high probability, you’ll encounter moose in their natural habitat. The quietness of horseback riding allows you to get closer to wildlife than usual, enhancing your chances of a memorable meeting with these arctic giants.
After the forest exploration and moose sightings, you’ll return to the farm for a well-deserved lunch featuring regional delicacies like souvas, a traditional Sami dish made from reindeer meat. This break gives you time to relax and share your experiences with fellow adventurers. Once lunch is over, you’ll head back to Abisko, bringing your moose safari to a close.
